Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Westlake, CA!
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to support operational process improvement and coordination to ensure effective contract execution and data capture
- Negotiate terms for smaller contracts
- Work on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
- Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on business matters
- Participate on negotiating teams to complete moderate complexity contracts
- Manage multiple contracts and projects with varying deadlines
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Paralegal certification and/or other legal qualification, contracts or equivalent work experience is highly desired
- Certified Purchasing Manager or related certification a plus
